TO BE A FIREFIGHTER?

The Dewey Volunteer Fire Company and Lower Saucon Fire Rescue have created a 7-week public education class to provide residents and business owners with a free opportunity to learn how the department operates.

Firefighters teach every class, covering topics such as engine and truck company operations, rescue techniques, fire extinguishers, fire prevention, public education, and emergency medical services.

Participants complete the academy with a real feel for the job thanks to hands-on demonstrations and opportunities to train alongside firefighters on company drills.

The academy is open to all residents and business owners in the Saucon Valley Area, age 16 and older.

Registration is Closed for the 2024 Class.
